Obama is up to more of his socialist agenda, this time in the form a controlling a company's money. True, the money used to belong to the government, but that changed once they handed it over to AIG. Now, Obama is in a huff about how they're spending the funds.

Too bad for the president, he doesn't get to decide how AIG spends the money. If AIG wants to reward their executives with $165 million for working so hard to try and keep the company afloat, that's AIG's decision and not the government's.

Allowing the government to determine where funds of a private company go is a slippery slope, it doesn't matter where the funds came from in the first place (as long as the funds were obtained legally, of course). If Obama is able to prevent these bonuses, it's just a matter of time before he's able to control companies in other ways as well.

If Obama is able to gain financial control over a private company, then he'll be able to put those companies in situations that force them to go under. This would be a convenient way to make sure his supporters and contributors get a leg up in the marketplace.

Of course, he wouldn't do this in an obvious way. For example, in order to gain presidence, he may attack an insurance company that doesn't show a blatant bias on his part. But once the presidence is set, he'd be able to control whatever company he wanted to under a veil of company incompetence.

As Americans, it is our job to make sure we have control of the money we receive. That's part of what living in a free country is all about. If someone else is able to decide what we use our money for, how is it any different than socialism?

We might as well just have everyone throw their money into a big pot and let Obama figure out what to do with it. That seems to be what he's going for anyway!
