The moves Obama is making with automakers are causing more government control and less freedom in this country. Obama is taking control of our businesses and forcing them to do exactly what he wants.

Recently, Obama forced the CEO of General Motors to quit and is forcing Chrysler to partner with Italian automaker Fiat. The "Land of the Free" has now turned into the land of the free range of Obama.

Companies need to have the freedom to fail, just like the have the freedom to succeed. If the government steps in every time a large company is dying, how can we call ourselves a "free market?"

This is the definition of socialism. Next, we'll be hearing about Obama's plan to redistribute wealth. Oh wait, that is also already happening.

And why would Obama force an American company to partner with a European one? This is insane and unheard of! If Obama is planning to keep American companies afloat by giving them to European interests, we won't be a country for much longer. Obama is giving control of this country away to outside powers by giving away our economy.

What gives Obama the right to do this? Why does he get more power than every other president? Are people really going to give him as much power as he wants, because he's scaring us with talk of a bad economy?

We can't allow Obama to scare us into giving him unlimited power. Once the government takes hold of the private sector, the people are no longer in control.
