Sarah Palin Still Desirable

As Gov. Sarah Palin continues her work in Alaska, congressional republicans in the nation's capital still want a piece of her.

On Monday, the republican congressional committees for the Senate and House announced that Palin was going to be the keynote speaker at one of their fundraisers. A few hours after the announcement, Palin's people denied the appearance.

Apparently, it was just a misunderstanding between a couple of people, but it shows that conservatives still want to have Palin represent the party.

This is great for the conservative movement in this country. Palin is a breath of fresh air that can change the way things are done in Washington. She's an attractive face for the party, and the party needs to change their appearance a little bit.

Palin holds conservative values close to her heart, and has the ability to spread those values to a new generation. Younger faces in a party means potentially younger followers. Hopefully, one day she'll come down from Alaska for good and shake things up a little bit.
